Grabas is playing for the Chilliwack Chiefs in the BCHL

Chilliwack Chiefs forward Nico Grabas has committed to Canisius, it was announced earlier this week.

A native of Burnaby, BC, Grabas has 25 points (eight goals, 17 assists) in 33 regular season games for the Chiefs this season.

In parts of four seasons in the BCHL with the Chiefs, Grabas has played 118 regular season games, tallying 56 points (18 goals, 38 assists).

A 2005-born skater, Grabas is likely to make the jump to Canisius for the 2025-26 season. Grabas has the potential to provide depth to Canisius' forward group, having improved his point total every season in the BCHL.
