RIT Goaltender Tommy Scarfone transfers to Wisconsin.

Tommy Scarfone was one of the best goalies in the NCAA this season and was a Mike Ritcher Semifinalist.

He was a big reason why RIT made the NCAA tournament and was a huge topic of discussion when he announced he was entering the transfer portal.

After losing their starting goaltender to the American Hockey League, Wisconsin went out and got Scarfone from the portal. The now senior goaltender announced on his instagram on Monday that he will be transferring to Wisconsin.

Scarfone, 23, has played in the last three seasons for RIT. He is coming off a 25-9-2 season with a 2.26 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage.

This is a big get for Wisconsin after their star goaltender, Kyle McClellan, signed a deal with the Iowa Wild of the AHL.
