The Vegas Golden Knights have signed forward Jackson Hallum to a two-year entry-level deal, it was announced Wednesday.
Hallum, a 2020 third round pick of the Golden Knights, just wrapped up his junior season with Michigan where he scored eight goals and added nine assists for 17 points in 36 games. Across three seasons in the blue and yellow, Hallum collected 17 goals and 25 assists for 42 points in 84 games.
Prior to making the jump to the NCAA and the Wolverines, Hallum played his junior hockey with the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers and the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
With Hallum now joining the Golden Knights, they will be adding a hard-working player who has some potential to turn into solid depth in the organization. While it remains to be seen how he will do, Hallum will be one to closely monitor to see if he can challenge for NHL time over the next two years.
