Two of the most low-maintenance stars in league history between a couple of dynamic talents is not too shabby, says Ken Campbell.
With the exception of a few spurts here and there, there might not be a team in NHL history that has embraced mediocrity more than the Vancouver Canucks. Often good, not great. Sometimes really bad. Sometimes outstanding, but just short of being a championship team.
But when it comes to the individual talent that makes up their Mount Rushmore, the Canucks have an array of talent that is as good as any other team's. It just hasn't had the help to push them over the finish line.
You start with one of the most dynamic talents in league history and that's good. Throw in the twins and an electrifying defenseman and you've got yourself a pretty solid group.
