Yet when the players look up to the rafter of the SAP Center, there is nary one to be found.
That's really unfortunate because the Sharks have done pretty much everything but win four playoff series in the same year.
To be sure, they've had some iconic players who will soon be in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Among them are one of the greatest set-up men in NHL history, the league's all-time games-played leader and one of the greatest late-round draft picks in NHL history.
And when it comes to filling the requirement of one player who must be on the roster, well, they have an old-timer there, too.
