

Nine seasons into his NHL career, it's almost impossible to fathom that Artemi Panarin was passed over in the 2010 and 2011 drafts.
Of the 421 players who were taken in those two drafts, only Nikita Kucherov and Tyler Seguin have outscored him. Seguin only has 24 more career points, despite playing 300 more games than Panarin.
As Panarin closes in on 100 points and is putting together a Hart Trophy-caliber season with the New York Rangers, it's time we acknowledged he is undoubtedly among the greatest draft-snubbed players of all-time.
Among forwards, you could argue that only Adam Oates was more productive. But he's right there with Martin St-Louis, Joe Mullen, Dino Ciccarelli and Tim Kerr.
