We are getting closer to the new season!

The Ducks announced that they signed rookie Leo Carlsson to a three-year entry-level contract on Wednesday. The first-round selection will be in camp later this fall, but his status with the team remains up in the air. He will either be a part of the Anaheim roster, the San Diego Gulls, or play more games in Sweden. The team hasn't made any decisions yet and likely won't until camp begins. We will learn more about his future with the team this season shortly.

In other Anaheim Ducks news, the Gulls announced their new 2023-2024 schedule. The defense for Anaheim still has some major holes in it, and the squad welcomes some new assistant coaches to the staff.
