Some added depth for Anaheim!

The Ducks and goalie Lukas Dostal agreed to a new two-year contract extension on Sunday. He stays with the team and gives them some needed depth at the position for next season. This is especially important because the status of goaltender John Gibson is currently up in the air. Anaheim likely wanted to give themselves a backup plan in case they do indeed move on from Gibson, and Dostal has some familiarity with the Ducks organization.

In other Ducks news, the Tulsa Oilers extended their affiliation contract with the Ducks. The San Diego Gulls announced their AHL schedule for the 2023-2024 season, and the Ducks need to address their defensive issues within the roster.
