The Ducks’ television broadcast network has been confirmed for the 2024-25 season.

UPDATE: The Ducks announced a partnership with Victory+ and KCOP Channel 13 on Aug. 27 to stream/televise all regional games free of charge for the 2024-25 season
As September draws nearer, the Anaheim Ducks have now secured their broadcast network for the upcoming season.
After locally broadcasting the 2023-24 season on Bally Sports, the Ducks will once again do the same in 2024-25. There were concerns regarding the status of Bally Sports beyond the 2023-24 season after their parent company, Diamond Sports, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March 2023.
During their bankruptcy, Diamond cut ties with professional sports teams from a variety of leagues. They would also miss payments to several teams and continue to miss payments throughout their bankruptcy.
Diamond was also granted several extensions to file their reorganization plan, which is why they’re still kicking about a year and a half after filing for bankruptcy.
After receiving a $115 million investment from Amazon in January 2024 and reaching an agreement with Sinclair Media Group—their parent company—for a $495 million cash payment to settle an earlier lawsuit, Diamond officially filed its reorganization plan in March 2024, a year after it had originally filed for bankruptcy.
On Friday, Diamond agreed to a long-term agreement with the NBA and NHL which included nine NHL teams (including the Ducks) and 13 NBA teams. If Diamond does not have a Chapter 11 exit plan by the end of both the NBA and NHL 2024-25 seasons, the contract will be terminated.
But, if Diamond is able to get a plan approved, this agreement will be automatically extended to the 2025-26 season.
While nothing has been confirmed, the expectation is that John Ahlers and Brian Hayward will be television broadcast commentary partners for their 22nd consecutive season with Aly Lozoff reprising her role as rinkside reporter and Kent French and Guy Hebert serving as pre-game and post-game hosts.
