Cronin hopes to restore the franchise!

When you end your season on a 13-game losing streak and clinch the worst overall record in the league, there really isn't anywhere to go but up. That's where the Anaheim Ducks sit as they enter an offseason full of decisions to make. They made the first big one as they hired on Greg Cronin to take over the teams head coach. Cronin brings years of experience to the table as an assistant around the NHL and a head coach in the AHL with the Colorado Eagles.
Cronin is known as a developmental coach who has the ability to bring out the best in his players. He pushes his guys to the limit but does so in his own unique way that has the Ducks ecstatic to see what he can do.
-"I'm a big believe that your communication skills, your ability to communicate a vision that's exciting for players and that's got credibility to it is the first step in building anything"
His experience in different places will also him to take what he has already learned and apply it to the Ducks. Cronin has his work cut out for him however but he isn't scared of the challenge. He is ready to get to work with this club and bring them back from the bottom of the league.

Anaheim has a roster full of young talent that only can keep growing. They also hold the second overall pick in the upcoming NHL Draft so the team will be getting a potential star in the making.
Cronin has the task of getting this franchise back to competing for Stanley Cups. However, the first order of business will be to learn who the players are as athletes and people. The Ducks front office believes he is the man for the job but only time will tell if that's the case.
