Bruins Announce Starting Goalie For Wild Matchup

The Boston Bruins will face the Minnesota Wild on Feb. 4 at TD Garden. The Bruins’ goal will be to secure another win after defeating the New York Rangers by a 6-3 final score in their last game. 

While speaking to reporters, Bruins head coach Joe Sacco shared that Jeremy Swayman will be the Bruins’ starter against the Wild. 

Swayman, 26, was the Bruins' starter in their last contest against the Rangers. The Anchorage, Alaska native stopped 22 out of 25 shots in the Bruins' win. This was a nice bounce-back game for Swayman, as he surrendered six goals on 32 shots against the Buffalo Sabres in his previous start.

Swayman will now look to build off his last start and pick up another victory against the Wild from here. In 38 games this season for the Bruins, he has a 17-17-4 record, a .895 save percentage, and a 3.03 goals-against average.
