Here is the Bruins' projected lineup for their afternoon contest against the Capitals.

Boston's Cam Neely Could Be Next On The Hot Seat

The Boston Bruins will play their final game of 2024 against the Washington Capitals this afternoon. They will look to end the calendar year on a high note before entering 2025.

The Bruins enter this contest after winning their last matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Dec. 28 by a 4-0 final score. They will now look to pick up another win against the Caps.

The Bruins defeated the Capitals on Dec. 23 by a 4-1 final score in what was one of their top games of the season.

For this contest against the Capitals, the Bruins are expected to have some new-looking lines. With Fabian Lysell being sent down to the AHL, Cole Koepke is expected to play on the third line. In addition, Johnny Beecher is expected to return to the lineup on the fourth line with Mark Kastelic and Marc McLaughlin.
