After an impressive 4-0 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets in their last game on Saturday (Dec. 28), the Boston Bruins returned to practice today.
Most of the Bruins' lines stayed the same at practice, but they did change their third line. With Fabian Lysell being sent back to the Providence Bruins on Sunday (Dec. 29), Cole Koepke jumped up to the third line with Trent Frederic and Justin Brazeau.
Koepke has spent the majority of this season on the fourth line, but he is now getting a look on the third line. Seeing him get bumped up in the lineup is understandable, as he scored a fantastic goal in the club's last matchup against Columbus.

Koepke has appeared in 36 games this season with the Bruins, where he has six goals, 11 points, 77 hits, and a plus-9 rating.
With Koepke moving up to the third line, Johnny Beecher has been placed back on the fourth line with Mark Kastelic and Marc McLaughlin. Beecher was scratched against Columbus in the last game. In 36 games this season, he has two goals, eight points, and a plus-2 rating.
