Boston Bruins legend Zdeno Chara has been named to the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Hall of Fame.
Chara making the IIHF Hall of Fame is not surprising in the slightest. The 47-year-old had a truly spectacular international career. He participated in three Olympics, seven World Championships, and two World Cups with Slovakia. In addition, he won two Silver Medals and was Slovakia's captain twice during the Olympics (2010 & 2014).

After getting into the IIHF Hall of Fame, Chara's next stop should be the Hockey Hall of Fame. He had a historic NHL career, posting 209 goals, 471 assists, and 680 points in 1,680 career NHL games over 24 seasons. He also won the Norris Trophy in 2012 and captained the Bruins to the Stanley Cup in 2011.
