This Bruins forward is officially done in Boston.

Boston's Cam Neely Could Be Next On The Hot Seat

Tyler Johnson's time with the Boston Bruins is officially over, as he has cleared unconditional waivers. With this, his contract has been terminated, and he is an unrestricted free agent again.

According to NHL insider Chris Johnston, Johnson wants to keep playing and will talk with NHL clubs after the holiday roster freeze is over.

Teams looking for more forward depth and experience could consider taking a chance on Johnson. While things did not work out for him with the Bruins, he had 17 goals and 31 points in 67 games just last season with the Chicago Blackhawks.

In nine games as a Bruin, Johnson had two assists, 10 penalty minutes, and a minus-1 rating. It will be fascinating to see if he can find a new home from here.
