Team USA has announced their 2026 Olympic orientation camp roster, and two Boston Bruins have been invited to it - defenseman Charlie McAvoy and goaltender Jeremy Swayman.

McAvoy is among the six players who have already earned a spot on Team USA's Olympic roster, so there is no surprise that he will be in attendance for their orientation camp. The 27-year-old is expected to be an incredibly important part of Team USA's blueline at the Olympics.

In 50 games this past season for the Bruins, McAvoy recorded seven goals, 16 assists, 23 points, and 89 hits. In 504 career NHL games over eight seasons with Boston, McAvoy has posted 60 goals, 300 assists, 883 blocks, 908 hits, and a plus-144 rating.

Swayman, on the other hand, will need to impress at the orientation camp in order to earn his spot on Team USA's Olympic. He certainly has some tough competition, as goaltenders Connor Hellebuyck, Jake Oettinger, and Joey Daccord have all been invited as well.

In 58 games this past season with the Bruins, Swayman had a 22-29-7 record, a .892 save percentage, and a 3.11 goals-against average. In 190 games over five NHL seasons with the Original Six club, he has a 101-62-22 record, a .910 save percentage, a 2.58 goals-against average, and 16 shutouts.
