The Bruins need these four forwards to heat back up.
The Boston Bruins have been struggling as of late, losing each of their last two games. Now, they will be looking to get back in the win column on Thursday night when they face the Utah Mammoth.
The Bruins have a handful of struggling forwards who they will be hoping will break the ice against the Mammoth. Let's look at four of them now.
David Pastrnak
David Pastrnak's tenure as the Bruins' captain has been off to a slow start. The superstar forward is still looking for his first goal of the season and will be looking to get it against Utah. He also did not record a point in three of his first four games of the season. Due to this, No. 88 is due to heat back up.
Pavel Zacha
Pavel Zacha is having a poor start to his contract year. The pending unrestricted free agent has zero points in four games so far this season for Boston. Yet, when noting that he had 30 goals and 65 points last season, he should get his offense going soon.
Casey Mittelstadt
Casey Mittelstadt is another pending UFA Bruins forward who is struggling early on. He has yet to record a point this season and has a minus-1 rating. With that, the Bruins need him to pick up his play again. Just last season, he had 15 goals and 42 points in 71 games for Boston.
Morgan Geekie
After scoring 39 goals last season, Geekie has yet to score his first of the season in 2026-27. He also has only five shots on goal in four games. With Geekie being one of Boston's top scorers, they need to shoot the puck more and heat back up. Don't be surprised if he does just that against Utah.
