The Boston Bruins could be without one of their toughest forwards against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
While speaking to reporters, Bruins head coach Marco Sturm shared that Jeannot is a game-time decision for their matchup against Toronto.
Jeannot participated in the Bruins' optional skate ahead of their contest against the Maple Leafs.
If Jeannot ends up not being good to go for the Bruins against the Maple Leafs, they will certainly miss his grit in the lineup. The 6-foot-2 winger has been a nice part of the Bruins' bottom six this season because of his hard-nosed and high-energy style of play.
The Bruins signed Jeannot to a five-year, $17 million contract during this past offseason. In 66 games for the Black and Gold so far this season, he has recorded six goals, 15 assists, 21 points, 59 penalty minutes, and 206 hits. This is after he had six goals and 13 points in 67 games last season for the Los Angeles Kings.
It will be interesting to see if Jeannot ends up being able to play for the Bruins. If he is unable to play, Mikey Eyssimont or Alex Steeves could return to the lineup.
