This Boston Bruins trade is only getting better as the season carries on.

The Boston Bruins picked up a 6-3 win against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night. Viktor Arvidsson certainly played a role in the Bruins' win over Dallas, as he recorded a hat trick.

While two of Arvidsson's goals were empty-netters during the third period, they were still important, as they helped Boston secure this much-needed win. With this victory, the Bruins have extended their winning streak to four games and have a six-point lead over the Columbus Blue Jackets for the top wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.

With his hat trick against the Stars, Arvidsson now has 24 goals, 50 points, and a plus-22 rating in 63 games this season. He has also recorded five goals and nine points over his last four games alone.

When looking at how well Arvidsson has played this season for the Bruins, there is no question that the Black and Gold hit a home run by acquiring him from the Edmonton Oilers this past summer. This is especially so when noting that the Bruins only gave up a 2027 fifth-round pick to land him.

Getting a fresh start has benefited Arvidsson in a major way, and he has become one of the Bruins' most important forwards because of it. One of the Bruins' biggest questions heading into this season was their top six, but the 32-year-old forward has undoubtedly given it a massive boost with his excellent play.

It will now be interesting to see how Arvidsson finishes off the 2025-26 season with the Bruins, but there is no question that he has been a fantastic addition to their group.
