Brad Marchand shared his thoughts about his upcoming matchup against Team USA and Bruins teammate Charlie McAvoy.

Team Canada is set to face off against Team USA on Feb. 15. This is undoubtedly going to be an incredibly entertaining matchup, as both squads have several superstars making up their rosters. 

This will be a must-watch contest for Boston Bruins fans in particular, as they will get the chance to see Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy face off against each other for the first time. 

While speaking to reporters, Marchand shared his mindset playing against McAvoy.

"We were never friends," Marchand joked. "That's part of the game. It happens every year in the league. Every year, guys move on and go to different teams, and, you know, you gotta compete against them, and it's no different in this tournament. It obviously has a little bit of a different element out there, but you put everything aside when you're on these teams, and you're willing to sacrifice anything and battle and compete against whoever."

It will certainly be a joy for Bruins fans to see two fierce competitors like Marchand and McAvoy face off against each other. It will be fun to see which Bruin leads their team to victory in this much-anticipated contest from here.
