Brad Marchand and Sam Bennett shared a nice moment after Game 6.
Sam Bennett was easily the most hated player by Boston Bruins fans in the club's series against the Florida Panthers. The gritty forward notably injured Bruins captain Brad Marchand with a sucker punch and knocked the star winger out for Games 4 and 5. Marchand did, however, return for Game 6.
Unfortunately, the Bruins fell to the Panthers in Game 6, ending their season. This opened the door for Marchand and Bennett to interact in the handshake line.

Given the fact that Bennett injured Marchand, things could have been awkward or even testy in the line. However, No. 63 put things aside and shared a nice moment with Bennett.
Marchand and Bennett chatted in the line for a few seconds and appeared to bury the hatchet. Marchand also patted Bennett on the chest before moving forward in the line.
While the bad blood between Marchand and Bennett could carry over to the next season, interactions like these show that there is a clear respect between them.
It will be intriguing to see what happens between the Bruins and Panthers next season. These two teams always provide entertaining hockey, and the 2024-25 campaign cannot come soon enough.
