What can the Bruins expect from Elias Lindholm this season?
The 2026-27 season is almost here for the Boston Bruins.
Due to this, we here at The Hockey News will be writing player previews on each Bruin ahead of the campaign.
In this latest edition of the series, let's take a look at Bruins center Elias Lindholm.
Lindholm is entering the third season of his seven-year, $54.25 million contract with the Bruins in 2026-27. It is fair to say that the start of his time with the Bruins has been underwhelming, as he has not been the answer to their first-line center problem.
Lindholm has provided the Bruins with some offense over the last two seasons, though. In 69 games last season for Boston, he posted 17 goals and 48 points. This was after he had 17 goals and 47 points in 82 games.
The Bruins will now be hoping that Lindholm can make more of an impact for them in 2026-27 season. If he could get back to the 60-point mark, it would be a nice step in the right direction for the 13-year NHL veteran.
Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see if Lindholm can have himself a strong season for the Bruins in 2026-27. There is no question that he is facing plenty of pressure to do so.
