The Bruins are one of the many teams linked to Jason Zucker.
With the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline quickly approaching, the Boston Bruins have been connected to several players. It is understandable, as their roster could use some work before the playoffs are here.
It appears that they have a new trade target on their radar, too. According to NHL insider Jeff Marek, the Bruins are one of the many clubs that have shown interest in Arizona Coyotes forward Jason Zucker. Marek also noted that the Vancouver Canucks, Nashville Predators, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, New Jersey Devils, and Vegas Golden Knights are also linked to the veteran.
Zucker, 32, was scratched for the Coyotes' last game against the Chicago Blackhawks due to "trade related reasons." This was not too surprising to see, as he is a pending UFA on a Coyotes team that is out of the playoff race. Thus, he is a prime rental candidate.
When looking at Zucker's potential fit in the Bruins' lineup, he would be a nice addition to their middle six. He would provide them with a bit more offensive production if acquired. Along with that, he would be a good addition to their power play because of his effective net-front presence ability.

Zucker has appeared in 51 games this season with the Coyotes, posting nine goals, 25 points, and 74 hits. He also had 27 goals just last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, so he can produce well when playing with the right linemates.
