The Bruins have announced their goalie for their contest against the Blue Jackets.

The Boston Bruins' holiday break is officially over, as they are back on the ice tonight (Dec. 27) to face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Original Six club will look to stay hot after winning each of their last two games.

While speaking to reporters, head coach Joe Sacco shared that Joonas Korpisalo will be the Bruins' starter against Columbus.

Korpisalo, 30, last played on Dec. 21 against the Buffalo Sabres and had a strong night. The Pori, Finland native stopped 19 out of the 20 shots he faced in the win.

Now, Korpisalo will look to stay hot against the club he spent his first eight NHL seasons with.

    Korpisalo has a 7-3-1 record, a 2.42 goals-against average, and a .904 save percentage in 12 games this season.
