The Boston Bruins have undoubtedly started the 2025-26 season on the right foot. They first defeated the Washington Capitals in their season opener by a 3-1 final score on Oct. 9. They then beat the Chicago Blackhawks in overtime by a 4-3 final score on Oct. 10 in their first game of the year at TD Garden.

While there is still a ton of hockey to be played this season, the Bruins starting their season off 2-0-0 is good news. One player who has played a role in the Bruins' solid start to the campaign is top center Elias Lindholm.

Lindholm put together a strong night for the Bruins in their season opener against the Capitals, as he scored the eventual game-winning goal and then grabbed an assist on Morgan Geekie's empty-netter. Then, he followed up his solid first game of the season with another good performance against the Blackhawks, as he scored a power-play goal to give the Bruins a 3-2 lead early in the third period.

Seeing Lindholm make an immediate impact offensively this season is a good sign. The Bruins need the 30-year-old forward to be on his A-game if they hope to have success in 2025-26, and he is certainly playing well right now.

It will now be interesting to see how Lindholm builds off his hot start to the season from here. If he keeps this up, a big bounce-back campaign could be on the way for the 2013 first-round pick.
