Bruins coach Joe Sacco sent this prospect a message following his demotion.

Boston Bruins prospect Fabian Lysell made his NHL debut against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday night. The 2021 first-round pick was sent right back to the Providence Bruins the next day.

After today's practice, Bruins head coach Joe Sacco was asked what message he gave Lysell following his demotion.

"The message was that he didn't hurt his chances for another opportunity at some point," Sacco said. "Played a good game. Did some good things out there. It was an opportunity for him to get up in his first NHL game... He got it based on his play. He's done a good job with Providence, but I think the message is 'continue to build on your game. You did not hurt your chances for another opportunity up here at some point.'"

Clearly, Sacco was impressed by Lysell's play, and it must have been good for the youngster to know that he could receive another recall to the NHL roster at some point. He did not look out of place in his debut, so this is unsurprising.
