The Hockey News' Emma Lingan and Michael Augello break down the latest Brad Marchand buzz.

According to NHL insider Kevin Weekes, Boston Bruins forward Trent Frederic is generating interest from multiple teams.

Frederic, 26, is currently in the final season of his contract and is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming summer.

Frederic has had a slow start to the 2024-25 season, posting one goal, two assists, and a minus-8 rating in 13 games thus far. This was after he set career highs with 18 goals, 22 assists, and 40 points this past season.

The Bruins currently sport a 6-6-1 record and are fourth in the Atlantic Division. The idea of them selling so early on seems unlikely, but this will undoubtedly be a storyline to follow from here. Frederic is clearly a hot commodity around the league right now.
