Boston Bruins forward Oliver Wahlstrom was given a five-minute major and game misconduct in the club's latest matchup against the Washington Capitals for boarding.
While on the forecheck, Wahlstrom shoved Capitals defenseman Martin Fehervary from behind into the boards. Following the play being reviewed, Wahlstrom was given the boot.
The Bruins claimed Wahlstrom off waivers from the New York Islanders on Dec. 14. In three games with the Bruins thus far, the 6-foot-2 winger has zero points.

Do you think Wahlstrom's hit warranted him to receive a game misconduct? In addition, do you think he will receive further discipline from NHL Player Safety? Let your thoughts be known in the comments.
