The Hockey News have only revealed players 71 to 100 for their Top 100 player rankings so far. Due to this, more Bruins, like David Pastrnak and Jeremy Swayman, should make their rankings next.
When looking at the season Geekie had for the Bruins, it makes a lot of sense that he has been named one of the NHL's top players of the 2025-26 campaign. The 6-foot-3 forward hit a new level this season, setting career highs with 39 goals, 29 assists, and 68 points. With numbers like these, he was a major reason why the Bruins made it to the playoffs this year.
Geekie's big 2025-26 season came after he had a breakout year for the Black and Gold last year. In 77 games with the Bruins during the 2024-25 campaign, he had 33 goals and 57 points. This helped him earn his six-year, $33 million contract from the Bruins this past off-season.
Overall, it is hard not to be happy with Geekie's play this season. He took another big step forward, and it will be fascinating to see what he does in 2026-27 from here. A 40-goal season should not be ruled out.
