Don't be surprised if this Bruins forward has a strong year.
Boston Bruins forward Marat Khusnutdinov had a nice breakout year in 2025-26. In 77 games with the Bruins this past campaign, he set career highs with 15 goals, 18 assists, and 33 points. This was after he recorded five goals and 12 points in 75 games split between the Minnesota Wild and Bruins during the 2024-25 season.
With numbers like these, it is clear that Khusnutdinov took a notable step in the right direction with his development last season. However, when noting that he is still only 24 years old and entering just his fourth NHL season, it is clear that he has the potential hit another new level this campaign for the Original Six club.
The possibility of Khusnutdinov taking his offensive game to a new level this season should not be ruled out. The young forward has shown promise early on in his NHL career, and it would not be necessarily surprising if he hit the 20-goal and 40-point marks this season with the Bruins because of it.
It will be interesting to see what kind of season Khusnutdinov can have for the Bruins in 2026-27. There is plenty to be optimistic about when it comes to his future with the Black and Gold.
