Larkin still doesn't want to be a Bruin.
In a recent article for The Athletic, Max Bultman and Pierre LeBrun reported that Detroit Red Wings star center Dylan Larkin has expanded his trade list to 10 teams.
Unfortunately, the Boston Bruins are still not one of the teams on Larkin's trade list.
Instead, Larkin's trade list now includes the Washington Capitals, Carolina Hurricanes, Utah Mammoth, Tampa Bay Lightning, New Jersey Devils, and Colorado Avalanche.
This is in addition to the Florida Panthers, Minnesota Wild, Vegas Golden Knights, and Dallas Stars, who have been on Larkin's trade list since the off-season.
With the Bruins needing a first-line center, Larkin is exactly the kind of star they could use down the middle. Yet, the Red Wings star is still not open to playing for the Bruins with this latest update.
With Larkin expanding his trade list, it could very well lead to the 30-year-old being traded to another club sooner rather than later. It would be best for the Red Wings to finally move the 12-year NHL veteran to put an end to the ongoing drama in Detroit.
However, based on this report, the idea of Larkin of becoming a Bruin still seems impossible.
In seven games this season with the Red Wings, Larkin has posted one goal and five points. This is after he posted 34 goals and 67 points in 74 games during the 2025-26 season with Detroit.
