If this Islanders forward is made available, the Bruins should consider targeting him.

The Boston Bruins have now won four straight games and seven out of their last 10 contests. This is certainly a good sign from a Bruins club that has struggled with consistency this season.

While the Bruins are starting to pick up wins more frequently, they would still be wise to add to their roster before the 2025 NHL Trade Deadline passes. Adding another top-six winger should be on their to-do list, and the New York Islanders offer a potential option in Kyle Palmieri.

Palmieri, 33, is a pending unrestricted free agent (UFA) on a struggling Islanders club. Because of this, if the Islanders can't turn things around and he does not have an extension near the deadline, he could be made available.

If Palmieri becomes available, he would be a prime player for the Bruins to consider. It is no secret that they need help at right wing, and Palmieri would give them that. In 28 games this season, he has 10 goals and 20 points. He also scored 30 goals with the Islanders this past season.

Palmieri has a $5 million cap hit, so the Bruins would need to get creative to fit him in financially, even with salary retention. However, with the Bruins needing a scorer in their top six, they should work hard to try to make something work if the opportunity presents itself.
