The 2025 NHL Entry Draft is just over a month away, and it is no secret that this is an important one for the Boston Bruins. After an ugly 2024-25 season that saw them miss the playoffs, the Bruins have the seventh-overall pick and will be looking to hit a home run with it.

While the Bruins do not have a top-five pick in the draft, they still have the potential to land a very good prospect selecting seventh. One interesting prospect who should grab their attention if he is available once they are on the clock is forward Anton Frondell.

Frondell, 18, spent this season with Djurgardens IF of the HockeyAllsvenskan, which is Sweden's second pro league. The 6-foot-1 center undoubtedly impressed with them, posting 11 goals, 25 points, and a plus-11 rating in 29 games. He was also solid for the club during the playoffs, recording three goals and seven points in 16 post-season games.

Frondell is viewed as one of the top prospects heading into the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, and it is easy to see why. He has the tools to blossom into a top-six playmaking center in the NHL, and that is something the Bruins undoubtedly need. Thus, if he has not been taken when the Bruins are up to pick, he is somebody they should seriously consider selecting. He would instantly become one of the Bruins' best prospects if they brought him in.

Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see if Frondell ends up being the Bruins' selection with their seventh-overall pick. Whichever team picks him will be getting a very promising youngster.
