The Boston Bruins have added some new players to their roster this off-season, including JJ Peterka, Will Borgen, and Connor Clifton. Yet, when looking at their current group, it is fair to argue that the Black and Gold should not be done making moves yet. 

While the Bruins acquired an exciting young forward in Peterka this off-season, they could still use one more scoring winger to solidify their forward group. While there are not a ton of notable unrestricted free agent (UFA) forwards left, there is one player remaining who could be a very good fit on the Bruins' roster: Vladimir Tarasenko. 

Tarasenko is not the same star he was during his best years, but he is still a very solid player at this stage in his career. The 34-year-old forward had a strong 2025-26 season with the Minnesota Wild, posting 23 goals, 24 assists, and 47 points in 75 games. With offensive totals like these, he could give the Bruins' middle six a nice boost if signed. 

After losing Viktor Arvidsson to the Detroit Red Wings in free agency this off-season, it would not hurt for the Bruins to add another veteran scoring winger like Tarasenko. The six-time 30-goal scorer and two-time Stanley Cup champion could work well on Boston's roster if signed to a short-term deal.
