The Bruins made some notable changes to their lines at morning skate.
After an ugly 7-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Jan. 28, the Boston Bruins made some notable changes to their lines at Jan. 30's morning skate.
On offense, Elias Lindholm was moved back up to the second-line center spot, with Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle as his wingers. With this, Matthew Poitras was dropped to the third-line center spot.
Poitras was not the only new forward on the third line, as Justin Brazeau skated on it after playing on the fourth line against the Sabres. Vinni Lettieri, on the other hand, skated on the fourth line with Cole Koepke and John Beecher.
The Bruins' blueline also sported a new look. Charlie McAvoy, who missed each of the last seven games, skated on the top pairing with Mason Lohrei. Brandon Carlo, who missed the last game with an illness, was on the second pairing with Parker Wotherspoon. Nikita Zadorov and Andrew Peeke remained together.
