Among the Bruins' newcomers include JJ Peterka, Connor Clifton, Will Borgen, and Ivan Ivan.
Yet, when looking at the Bruins' current roster, it is clear that they could still use some serious help at the center position. Due to this, they should consider making a last-minute push for Seattle Kraken center Shane Wright with the season almost here.
Wright has been a popular name in the rumor mill this off-season, and he would have the potential to be a strong pickup for the Bruins. While the 22-year-old has yet to break out and become a legitimate top-six center, he still has the potential to change that.
Wright simply has had trouble finding his fit with the Kraken and could use a change of scenery. If he got a fresh start with a team that needs help down the middle like the Bruins, it could help him unlock his full potential. This would especially be the case if he received the opportunity to play with superstar winger David Pastrnak.
Wright appeared in 74 games last season with the Kraken, where he posted 12 goals and 27 points. While these numbers are not the most impressive, he also had 19 goals and 44 points in 79 games with Seattle as a 21-year-old in 2024-25. With this, he has already shown decent offensive upside, so he would make a lot of sense for the Bruins to take a chance on.
