The Boston Bruins released their roster and complete schedule for the 2026 Rookie Camp and Prospects Showcase.

The Bruins will play two games against prospects from the Buffalo Sabres during the 2026 Prospects Showcase.

James Hagens is the headliner for the Bruins, make no mistake about it. The full roster is below:

The 2025 7th Overall Pick did not participate in this camp or showcase last year as his season with Boston College had already begun by this point.

However, this year Hagens' season begins now, as he makes his push to crack the Bruins' opening night lineup for September 29th.

Dans Locmelis is the next most-exciting prospect to take part, as the 2022 fourth-round pick continues to recover from a season-ending shoulder injury he suffered while competing in the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics with Team Latvia.

Locmelis, 22, posted 15 goals and 28 points in 43 AHL games last season, his rookie season in North America.

The Latvian looks like he could be a surefire bottom-six NHL player with serious scoring pop.

Matthew Poitras and Frederic Brunet will not participate in the camp.

Poitras remains unsigned with training camp approaching in just over a week.

More information on the Prospect Showcase has been released by the Bruins themselves:

"Both Prospect Showcase games from Buffalo will be available via live stream on the Bruins + TD Garden App and BostonBruins.com and will feature a shared broadcast with 98.5 The Sports Hub's Ryan Johnston, providing color commentary for Sunday's game alongside Sabres’ Play-by-Play Announcer Dan Dunleavy, and giving the play-by-play for Monday's game alongside Sabres’ Color Analyst Rob Ray."
