Leading up to this matchup, there were some questions about who the Bruins' starting goalie would be. However, we have now gotten confirmation that Jeremy Swayman will once again be the club's starting goalie.
Swayman, 25, has lost each of his last three starts, but a major reason behind it has been the sloppy play of the Bruins in front of him. His last start was particularly tough, as he saved an impressive 38 out of 41 shots, but the Bruins' offense disappeared as the game went on.
Swayman will now look to carry the Bruins to a crucial victory with a strong performance. He has a .930 SV% and a 2.28 GAA in 10 playoff appearances this year.
