Could the Bruins select this defenseman with their first-round pick this summer?

The Athletic's Corey Pronman released his latest 2026 NHL mock draft, where he predicted the entire first round.

When it came to the Boston Bruins, Pronman predicted that the Original Six club will select defenseman Adam Goljer with the 23rd overall pick.

With the Bruins desperately needing help on the right side of their blueline, it would be understandable if they took a defenseman with good potential like Goljer in the first round. This is especially so when noting that he is a big right-shot defenseman, which is something that NHL teams always value.

Goljer spent this season with HK Dukla Trencin in Slovakia, where he had four goals, seven assists, 11 points, and 40 penalty minutes in 43 games. Overall, the 6-foot-3 defenseman showed promise as a shutdown defenseman this campaign and could be a strong fit on the Bruins because of it.

Right now, the right side of the Bruins' defense falls off dramatically after Charlie McAvoy. Thus, bringing in a promising right-shot defenseman like Goljer certainly would make sense for the Black and Gold if the opportunity presents itself on draft day.
