    The Bruins have recalled two of their players.

    The Boston Bruins returned forward Marc McLaughlin and defenseman Jordan Oesterle to the Providence Bruins on Thursday (Nov. 28). However, they have now been called right back up to the NHL squad on Friday (Nov. 29). Oesterle and McLaughlin's quick re-assignments were paper transactions. 

    McLaughlin, 25, made his NHL season debut with the Bruins on Nov. 26 against the Vancouver Canucks. During it, he recorded one shot in 9:36 of ice time.

    McLaughlin has played in 15 games this season with Providence, where he has 10 points. Before his recall to Boston's roster, he scored in five straight games for Providence. 

    Oesterle, 32, has appeared in three games this seasonwith the Bruins. He has zero points, three hits, and a minus-2 rating while with the NHL club.

    Oesterle has three goals, eight points, and a minus-3 rating in nine games with Providence this season.
