According to the AHL transactions page, the Boston Bruins have returned forward Marc McLaughlin to the Providence Bruins.
This McLaughlin demotion comes after Boston scratched the 25-year-old forward in each of their last three games. Before then, the North Billerica, Massachusetts native had two goals in his previous three games.
Before being recalled by Boston last month, McLaughlin had 10 points in 15 games with Providence. In addition, he had a five-game goal streak with Providence before getting called up.

In 23 career NHL games over four seasons with the Bruins, McLaughlin has six goals, 38 hits, and a minus-1 rating.
