The Boston Bruins had a huge first day of free agency. They finally landed longtime target Elias Lindholm and brought in a big left-shot defender in Nikita Zadorov for their top four. They also added depth pieces in Max Jones, Riley Tufte, Cole Koepke, Jordan Oesterle, Billy Sweezey, and Jeffrey Viel.
However, when looking at the Bruins' roster, GM Don Sweeney should be open to idea of bringing in another NHL-caliber winger. The Bruins lost a significant piece of their top six, as Jake DeBrusk signed a seven-year deal with the Vancouver Canucks. With DeBrusk's departure, they have lost some scoring on the wing, and one free agent they should consider targeting is Daniel Sprong.

Sprong, 27, is one of the top free agents still available for the taking on day two of free agency. The 2015 second-round pick is coming off a strong season with the Detroit Red Wings, recording 18 goals and 43 points in 76 games. This was mostly while playing bottom-six minutes, too, which is impressive.
If the Bruins landed Sprong, he would give them another experienced scorer to work with for their middle six. He has shown that he can produce, as he is coming off back-to-back seasons with at least 40 points. It would not hurt for the Bruins to add some production like that, especially if he is open to signing a short-term deal at a reasonable cap hit.
