The Bruins have added another prospect to their system.

The Providence Bruins have made a move, as they have announced that they have signed forward Ryan Tattle to a one-year AHL contract for the 2026-27 season.

Providence also shared that Tattle will spend the rest of the 2025-26 campaign with the AHL club on an amateur tryout (ATO).

Tattle just completed his senior season with UConn, and it was a solid year for the 24-year-old winger. In 38 games with the school, he recorded 13 goals, 19 assists, 32 points, and a plus-7 rating. This is after he had 18 goals and 32 points in 39 games for UConn during the 2024-25 season.

In 124 games over his four-year stint with UConn, Tattle recorded 35 goals, 42 assists, and 77 points.

Overall, there is no harm in Providence bringing in Tattle on this AHL deal. If he impresses during it, perhaps it could open the door for him to earn an entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins later down the road. No matter what happens on that front, the Port Moody, British Columbia native has the potential to be a solid addition to Providence's roster.
