Jeremy Swayman earned some major praise for his strong 2025-26 season.
The 2025-26 season was certainly a success for the Boston Bruins, as they got back into the playoffs. While they lost in the first round to the Buffalo Sabres, they took a big step in the right direction after their terrible 2024-25 season.
Jeremy Swayman was undoubtedly a major reason behind the Bruins getting things back on track this season. This is because he was one of the best goalies in the NHL. In 55 games this season, he had a 31-18-4 record, a .907 save percentage, and a 2.71 goals-against average. With this, he is one of the finalists for the Vezina Trophy this year.
Now, Swayman's excellent season has earned him some major praise.
The Hockey News gave Swayman the No. 45 on their top 100 players rankings for the 2025-26 season. When noting that he helped carry the Bruins to the playoffs, it is hard to argue against Swayman being ranked as one of the top players in the NHL this season.
Swayman will now be looking to build off his successful 2025-26 season from here. If he can put together another campaign next season like he did this year, the Bruins should be in very good shape.
