The 2024-25 season has not been good for the Boston Bruins. They currently have a 20-17-5 record and have struggled to stay consistent. They are also in the middle of another notable skid, losing each of their last four games.
One of the Bruins' most significant issues this season has been their underwhelming offensive production. While this is the case, one of their forwards is emerging as a solid scorer for them — Justin Brazeau.
Brazeau, 26, is quietly having a solid season for the Bruins in 2024-25. In 40 games this campaign, he has 10 goals, 18 points, and 62 hits. He is also heating up, scoring three goals in his last five games.
Justin Brazeau With this, Brazeau is currently on pace for a 20-goal season. This is undoubtedly solid production, but especially when remembering that he just earned his first NHL contract in the middle of last season.
Brazeau is currently tied for third with Charlie Coyle on the Bruins in goals, and only David Pastrnak (17 goals) and Brad Marchand (15 goals) have more.
Brazeau remains a strong part of the Bruins' top nine, despite the team's ongoing struggles. If he keeps this up, it would not be shocking if he lands an extension.
