The Boston Bruins have announced that they have traded Massimo Rizzo and Dalton Bancroft to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Navrin Mutter.
The Bruins just acquired Rizzo from the Flyers in a multi-player trade with the Flyers. Now, after spending one week with the Bruins organization, Rizzo is heading to the Predators. In one game for the Providence Bruins, Rizzo did not get on the scoresheet.
Bancroft played in 34 games this season with Providence before this trade, where he had one goal, one assist, and 30 penalty minutes. This is after he scored one goal in five games for Providence this past season.
As for Mutter, the 6-foot-3 forward played in 27 games this season with the Milwaukee Admirals, where he had one assist and 72 penalty minutes. The London, Ontario native will provide Providence with more toughness and grit.
