The Bruins have added another skilled prospect to their system.

The Boston Bruins have selected right winger Nils Bartholdsson with the 88th pick of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.

Bartholdsson, 18, spent the majority of this season with Rogle BK's U20 team. In 32 games this past season with the Swedish junior club, he posted 23 goals, 19 assists, and 42 points. He also played in eight games for Rogle BK's U18 team in 2024-25, posting eight goals and 13 points.

Barholdsson also had a solid season with Rogle BK's U20 team during the 2024-25 campaign, as he recorded 15 goals and 37 points in 39 games.

With the Bruins needing more skilled prospects, there is no harm in them taking a chance on an interesting prospect like Bartholdsson. The young winger has certainly shown promise with his goal scoring at the junior level in Sweden.

It will be interesting to see how Bartholdsson continues to develop from here. Perhaps he could become an impactful scorer for the Bruins later down the road.
