Fabian Lysell is one of the Boston Bruins' top prospects. The 2021 first-round pick played in his first 12 NHL games this season for the Original Six club, posting one goal, three points, and a minus-4 rating. However, he notably ended the season on a high note with Boston, posting all three of his points in the team's final four games.

Overall, Lysell demonstrated promise during his late-season chance with the Bruins and created a bit more optimism about his future in the process. Now, the 22-year-old forward's goal for the 2025-26 season will be to break out and finally cement himself as a full-time NHL player with the Bruins.

There is no question that next season is a crucial one for Lysell. The 5-foot-11 winger now has three American Hockey League (AHL) seasons on his resume, and it is time for the youngster to take that next step and prove that he belongs in the NHL. This is especially so when noting that the Bruins need serious help on the wing and are hoping that Lysell can provide them with just that.

Lysell has shown good upside with the Providence Bruins, recording 40 goals and 121 points in 162 games with the AHL squad. This includes 11 goals, 34 points, and a plus-12 rating in 52 contests this campaign with Providence. Now, the Gothenburg, Sweden native's goal will be to translate some of that offense over to the NHL from here.

It is going to be very interesting to see if Lysell can hit a new level and break out for the Bruins next season. The potential for him to do so is there, but time will tell what happens on that front.
