Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak was simply excellent this past season for the Original Six club. In 82 games during the 2024-25 campaign, No. 88 recorded 43 goals, 63 assists, and 106 points. This included recording 28 goals and 66 points in the team's final 41 games of the season.
Due to his dominant play during the second half of the year, Pastrnak hit the 40-goal and 100-point marks for the third year in a row. It was also the second campaign in a row that he had 63 assists. With this, he has rightfully earned a high spot on the NHL Network's latest top 20 wingers list.
Pastrnak landed the No. 2 spot on the NHL Network's list, beating out other star wingers like Kirill Kaprizov, Mikko Rantanen, and Mitch Marner. The only player ahead of Pastrnak on the NHL Network's list is Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Nikita Kucherov.
Given how marvelously Pastrnak has played over the last several seasons, him landing a top two spot on the NHL Network's latest list is certainly justifiable. It will be intriguing to see what kind of season Pastrnak can now put together from here. If he puts together another big year, it would help the Bruins' chances of turning things around in 2025-26.
