Zacha & Minten Headline the Bruins' Pending Free Agents
When it comes to the Bruins who are in the final years of their contract, it is clear that Zacha and Minten are the most notable.
The Bruins have a big decision to make with Zacha. The 2015 first-round pick is undoubtedly due for a big raise, and the Bruins will need to determine if they want to be the team that gives him it. The skilled center just had the best season of his career in 2025-26, posting 30 goals, 35 assists, and 65 points in 78 games.
As for Minten, there is no question that the Bruins will re-sign the pending RFA center. However, the real question is whether they end up locking him up to a short-term or long-term deal. Minten cemented himself as a big part of the Bruins' forward group last season, so it would be entirely understandable if they worked quickly to get him extended before next summer.
